Sir Isaac Newton born 1642, died 1727. Newton was a mathmetician and physicist. He was born in lincolnshire where he attended school at Cambrigde University in 1661. In his later years Newton was elected a member of parlament for the University of Cambridge to the convention parlament of 1689. in 1696 Newton moved to London as Warden of the Royal Mint. He became master of the mint in 1699. As Newtons science became increasingly accepted on the continent, Newton became the most highly esteemed natural philosopher in Europe. Newton studied many categories such as optics, mathematics, mechanics and gravitation.

Newtons 3 laws of motion.

1. Every object in a stare of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.
2.The relationship between an objects mass, its acceleration a, and the applied force if F=ma.
3.For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
